Back in February, on our Basketball Illuminati podcast, we tracked the All-Star draft over the last few years and noticed a startling trend: the captains – LeBron, Steph, KD and Giannis – have been foreshadowing future blockbuster deals through the All-Star draft selections.
If you didn’t know, the All-Star draft is a new show to hype up the All-Star game which had lost some of its juice in recent years. Some people think it’s too gimmicky, a carnival game.
Let me tell you: Ignore the All-Star draft at your own peril. Go ahead and laugh all you want. It’s silly, you say? Sneer away!
