I highly recommend The Money and The Power: The Making of Las Vegas, if you haven't read it. It really opened my (third?) eye(s?) to the never-ending pursuit of new revenue streams by a rapacious industry that cares about profit above anything else. Of course, zero applicability to 🏀. But, maybe when LeBron and the other Horsemen start the NBA's 32nd franchise, the Las Vegas Posse, you can be ready with some Mormon / Teamsters / Howard Hughes anecdotes for press row.
Having witnessed that Sixers-Celtics series, I don’t believe that there was any chance that the Sixers would have advanced. The Sixers pushed them, but the Celtics were just better (FWIW - I’m a Sixers fan).
Weird that Brand would get into his young teammate’s heads with that kind of talk before a Game 7. The young Sixers were successful because they were playing loose all series. They had only advanced over the Bulls in the previous round because of Derrick Rose’s injury.

PUTTING IT ON THE LIST. Thanks GS! Keep your third eye open!
